The Education section is split into three main areas:

Legislation: Legislation affects engineers everywhere as well as clients of engineering firms. It affects the way our world is designed, it affects how we treat what we've already built, it changes how much we pay for the things we use.

Quality Based Selection: The selection of a consulting engineer is one of the most important decisions you will make in completing a successful project. Many state and local governments, as well as private industry, have followed the lead of the federal government in the procurement of consulting engineering services based on Qualifications Based Selection. This section will give you a QBS overview, why to use it, and some suggested guidelines to follow.

Publications: Periodically we'll place documents here that you may find useful or of interest. Currently, the ACEC/ND 2002-2004 Directory is available for download in the Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
